SSHSP Medicaid Cost Reporting

The annual cost reporting for the July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019 school year will begin on August 10, 2020 and must be completed and certified by October 16, 2020.

To assist school districts and counties in this process, the NYS Department of Health’s contractor, Public Consulting Group, Inc. (PCG) is conducting CPE Cost Report training from August 11, 2020 through August 20, 2020. The training will be provided via online WebEx, and a pre-recorded training will also be available through the PCG Claiming System.

Cost reporting for the 2018-19 school year will be completed in a new web portal, the PCG Claiming System, that is already being utilized for the Random Moment Time Study. NYS Department of Health encourages everyone to attend a training so that any questions on the new site can be discussed and addressed.

These sessions will be limited to the annual SSHSP cost reporting aspects of the certified public expenditure (CPE) component of the SSHSP. There will be a separate training for desk reviews held in the Fall of 2020.
