Jack Venesky, CPA

Jack Venesky, CPA

Over 40 years of Experience

Jack earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College and has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 40 years. Jack is highly respected by County, State and Federal officials, and with his assistance, New York State governmental entities have recovered millions of dollars in Federal and State reimbursements. He has focused his career on providing specialized accounting and consulting services to NYS County Governments. In addition, Jack is a frequent speaker on indirect cost reimbursements and cost reporting issues affecting NYS Counties and many of their departments. Jack is active in most activities and provides initial engagement plans and the final reviews for all special projects.


Doug Venesky, MBA

Doug Venesky, MBA

General Manager - 15 years of experience

Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the State University of New York at Albany and a Masters in Business Administration from Le Moyne College. Doug is the Managing Partner of Venesky & Company and its Subsidiaries. Over the course of his career, Doug has obtained a wealth of knowledge regarding Indirect Cost recovery per the Uniform Guidance, Maintenance in Lieu of Rent cost recovery per the Fiscal Reference Manuals, and how to obtain a Federally Approved Indirect Cost Rate from the Division of Cost Allocation for Community Colleges. In addition, Doug is active in the community by serving as the Treasurer for two local organizations.

Todd Steria

Supervisor - 15 years of experience

Todd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego and is the Health Services liaison for Venesky & Company. His responsibilities include various aspects of accounting and consulting, such as: planning and implementing new engagements – Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports (CHHA, D&TC, PCA, Hospice) / Article 6 State Aid Consulting, interacting with government auditors, interpreting Federal and State regulations, and providing the final review of all work completed by the Health Services staff.


Greg Loguidice

Supervisor

Greg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College and is the Governmental Services liaison for Venesky & Company. His responsibilities include various aspects of accounting and consulting, such as: planning and implementing new engagements – Cost Allocation Plans / Maintenance in Lieu of Rent Reports / Accelerated Depreciation Models / Cooperative Agreements, interacting with government auditors, interpreting Federal and State regulations, and providing the final review of all work completed by the Governmental Services staff.


Katie Tryniski

Project Manager

Katie is a Project Manager with Venesky & Company. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics with an Economics minor from St. John Fisher College. Her responsibilities include various aspects of accounting and consulting, such as: Cost Allocation Plans and Maintenance in Lieu of Rent Reports. In addition, she coordinates and manages the workflow for all Governmental Services staff.


Leha Miller

Accountant

Leha is an Accountant with Venesky & Company. She earned a Masters of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan-Flint. Her responsibilities include assisting the Health Services Team in preparing various Cost Reports (CHHA, D&TC, PCA, Hospice) and providing Article 6 State Aid accounting services.


Jordyn Tracy, MBA

Accountant

Jordyn is an Accountant with Venesky & Company. She earned her Masters of Business Administration degree in Accounting at the State University of New York at Oswego. Her responsibilities include assisting the Governmental Services Team in preparing various Cost Allocation Plans and Maintenance in Lieu of Rent Reports.


Stephen Bacon

IT Specialist

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University and a Masters Degree in Education from Syracuse University. His responsibilities include custom excel modeling, software/hardware consulting, systems training, and researching evolving technologies.


Stephen Venesky

IT Specialist

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Buffalo State College and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. His responsibilities include local area and wide area networking, e-mail services, and workstation and server troubleshooting.


Steve Vicario

IT Specialist

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The University at Buffalo. He began his career in technology, targeting custom software and website development. Almost a decade later he has progressed into a programming powerhouse offering clients online platforms to satisfy their unique business needs.
