ARPA Deadline Update

In November, the U.S. Treasury revised the deadline for the Submission of the first Project and Expenditure Report from the previous October 31, 2021 due date. However, the Treasury also updated the reporting tiers for the Project and Expenditure report. The new reporting tiers are as follows:

  • Metropolitan counties and cities with a population that exceeds 250,000:
    • The report will be due on January 31, 2022 and will cover the period between March 3, 2021 and December 31, 2021.  The report will be submitted quarterly.
  • Metropolitan counties and cities with a population lower than 250,000 who received an award above $10 million:
    • The report will be due on January 31, 2022 and will cover the period between March 3, 2021 and December 31, 2021.  The report will be submitted quarterly.
  • Metropolitan counties and cities with a population lower than 250,000 who received an award less than $10 million:
    • The report will be due on April 30, 2022 and will cover the period between March 3, 2021 and March 31, 2022.  The report will be submitted annually by the end of April.

Before the Project and Expenditure report is due the U.S. Treasury will also provide a detailed user guide and host webinars with the aim of assisting award recipients with entering the information in the Treasury’s Portal.  Please visit www.treasury.gov/SLFRPReporting or review the chart below for more information.
